1. What are some of the most common benefits of breast lift surgery?
Returning your breasts to their original, more youthful position.
2. What will happen at the initial consultation?
We will discuss the patient' s concerns and the need for a lift with or without implants and the expected incision lines.
3. How long does breast lift surgery take?
1 to 2 hours
4. Do I have to stay in the hospital?
This is an outpatient procedure so you will go home that day and I encourage you to shower and go out to dinner that night.
5. How much pain is there?
The pain can be managed by oral pain medication. If there is a significant amount of pain, you should call your doctor, as this may signal a hematoma.
6. What can I expect after breast lift surgery ?
You can expect the breasts to be in a high position that will settle into a more appropriate position after a month or so.
7. What is the long term outcome like ?
Gravity is always present so it is possible that after 10 to 20 years, you may want another lift. If the implants are not causing any problems, you do NOT have to automatically exchange them out as many people believe.
