1. Are the results from a breast lift permanent?
Weight loss or gain may alter the result. Likewise the general aging process may alter the result.
2. Why would I want a breast lift?
If the breasts are felt to be ptotic(droopy), or classically with the nipple below the lower breast fold.
3. What should I expect during breast lift surgery?
Moderate discomfort and scar process ranging from around the areola to vertical and vertical and transverse in the breast fold.
4. Where will the surgery most likely take place?
Usually in an outpatient surgical facility.
5. When can I return to work and strenuous activity?
Generally you can return to work within 10 days and to activity incrementally beyond that with full activity by 3 to 4 weeks.
6. Will I require any blood transfusions during breast lift surgery?
No. You will not require blood transfusions during breast lift surgery.
7. Is it possible to have my insurance cover my breast lift surgery?
No.Breast lift surgery is not covered by insurance.
