When Is the Best Time for a Breast Lift?
Many patients find that after they have had children the shape of their breasts have significantly changed and patients may feel that they are ready to gain back a more youthful shaped breast. How long do the results last?
Your body will continue with life's natural aging process. Although you will have beautifully shaped breasts, we reccommend that you continue with practical solutions to aid in keeping them looking their best ie: supportive bras for working out and running.
Is there a lot of swelling involved with mastopexy?
Swelling should be minimal in Mastopexy and any swelling that results should resolve in a few days.
What incisions are made for a breast lift?
Typically incisions are around the areola, down the front and along the inframammary fold depending on the amount of correction required.
How Does a Breast Lift Work?
Mastopexy or breast lift surgery is designed to lift and/or change the shape of your breasts. Mastopexy usually involves repositioning of the areola and nipple, as well as lifting the breast tissue and tightening the skin. Mastopexy may be performed alone, or in combination with placement of breast implants.

Most insurance companies find that this procedure is cosmetic in nature. Therefore they deny coverage.
